Bill Advances In Kentucky To Allow Senator Rand Paul To Run For The Senate And President In 20163/13/2014 The Kentucky Senate passed a bipartisan bill that would allow Senator Rand Paul to Run for President and the Senate in 2016. The bill is now heading to the Democrat controlled Kentucky House where it is expected to have a tougher time passing. In 2008 Joe Biden ran for Vice President and ran for the Senate in Delaware. Joe Lieberman did the same in Connecticut when he was selected as Al Gore's Vice President. Republican David Jolly wins the special election House of Representatives Seat in Florida. David Jolly received 48.5% of the vote and Democrat Alex Sink 46.7% of the vote on Tuesday. Sink also ran for Governor of Florida in 2010 but lost to the current Governor, Republican Rick Scott. This race was the first test for the November's midterm elections. The test was to see how Obamacare would do on a more national stage as a issue do to its failed roll-out and America's strong dislike of the law.
